GU50PP

This amplifier is built with 2 times an EF18 tube4 (1 preamplifier and 1 stage driver) and 2 times a GU50 Penthode tube for each channel, in Push Pull.

Extra feature is the possibility to read out the bias current of the GU50's; the first digit is the tube, de 2nd en 3rd are the bias current. So in the picture example the 2nd GU50 is selected, with 38mA bias current.
The startup procedure can be watched here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_v1cM0yGRLw

On the front a IN-2 nixie is present to show which input is selected.

The amplifier can produce 2 x 30W and sounds quite good, the sound can be compared to my other PP amplifier with 2 x KT88 /channel.

The chassis is made of standard hobby shop materials, with mahony wooden side bars for a classic 60's look. The construction is built in a way no screws or bolts are visible on the top plate.
