This was inspired by the retro-34UL amp from retro-thermionic, which in turn is based on the original KT88 amp by Mikael Abdellah. The SS power supply has CLCLC filtering plus final split RC's for the 6N1P driver. After trying the amp in Triode Strapped and UL modes I opted to leave it in UL with a switch to change the level of plate-to-plate feedback. It's sound is lively and punchy, with good bass slam and sparkling highs.

• Mate, good work. Hard to beat a good SE UL EL34. Lots of different EL34 around to try. My best are original Svetlanas but Siemens NOS may even be better.
  
  If you make another go for tube rectification it does change the overal tone.
