LeManja has a universal single stage tube front end which can roll any12A?7 tube and a chip back end. The chip is a PT2308 dedicated Class AB headphone driver.

The chassis is a Hammond wood cheek. The PS is external and uses a 24VAC plug back. Three DC voltages are supplied to the amp; HT, DC for filaments and 30VDC for the PT2308. A 6V regulator holds steady voltage to the chip. The HT is a choked triple Pi network and the amp is dead silent.

The performance of the HP amp is extremely impressive and this may be one of the best of my many, many builds over 50 years of DIY.

• Yes, try RS, element14 etc. But I think they sell in bundles of twenty.
