Here is my build of Dave Ellis' 2-way design - the 1801b, based on a SEAS Excel W18E001 mid/woofer and the Hiquphon OWI tweeter. Dennis Murphy designed the crossover, and the cabinet is a 22L rear ported design. The stands were made to raise the speakers to listening height in my desired room, and are an unusual "twisted" design using Tasmanian Blackwood veneer. I built a matching subwoofer to go with these (see other project)
