Active loudspeaker system with TAD drivers

High Definition Active Loudspeaker System for my 60th Anniversary (2010)

NIDA is a two-way active loudspeaker system for high definition sound reproduction. The system’s construction is based on the same principle as sound recording studio monitors. It has a neutral timbre, a very low distortion, a very high dynamic range, and provides proper sound dispersion. Highest quality studio professional drivers and specially designed horns were used in the system to achieve the sensitivity and acoustic power, making the system suitable for use in various environments - from small rooms of 20 m² to a 200-300 m² music halls.

Low frequency driver: 16" professional driver with 4" voice coil and ALNICO motor
Low frequency cabinet: truncated pyramid, external port with vertical air flow*
High frequency driver: 1" professional compression driver with pure Beryllium diaphragm and ALNICO motor
Resistance (nominal / minimal): 8/8.2 ohms
Sensitivity: 97 dB 1W, @1m
Overall Frequency Response: 17 Hz - 40 kHz
Usable Frequency Response: 24 Hz - 21 kHz +/-2dB
Active crossover: NIDA X24, analog 24 dB/oct.
Maximum power: 150 W (pink noise), 300 W (musical)
Maximum SPL: 120 dB
External dimensions (H x W x D): 1300 x 700 x 680 mm / 51.2 x 27.6 x 26.8 in
Weight (pair): 360 kg / 800 lb

The project was very successful and I decided to do a small upgrading.
I would like to recommend to all High-End lovers to use high definition active loudspeaker system NIDA Mk1.
