Mezmerize

My version of the DCB1 buffer based on Nelson Pass' B1 schematic.
Powered by a pair of shunt regs (slightly hotrodded with a bias of the regulators of 350mA per rail), with added capacitance of 23500uF per side.
Volume control is a 8th Note digital attenuator based on japanese mini relays (working beautifully).

The case is made of ureol with a front out of moroccon Thuja wood, both knobs turned from delrin.

  • Wow,Stixx!!
Your work always amazes me with excellent design. Both, internal layout as well as the fine and stylish exterior. Great combination of color and surface. Super fine and clean executed. Love it!
