I wanted a phono pre amp that was very quiet, was ran off batteries and could provide accurate sound.

The circuit is the BHL Jfet design. Wiring and soldering was very easy. Just had to make a case for it.

Being a machinist, anything is possible, just have to visualize it and make it :)

It turned out great! Had it black anodized to protect the metal and add some character.

It took about 3 hours of machining to make the case.
