Dynaudio Finale

I built this speakers a few years ago with mostly Dynaudio drivers.
They were available as kits from Dynaudio at late 90's, but I have used of some finer qualities than original drivers. And with my own twist of cabinets with curved sides.
The speaker drivers are not commercially available anymore, and it has taken me several years to find unused or sparingly used drivers, but was well worth the wait.
The cabinets are made of oak veneer on 30mm's MDF and solid oak.

  • Looks great. Please tell us something about the sound character and with what kind of amps you listen.
    Best wishes
    Rainer
It is possible to become the plan from the front and rear speakers?

  • Thanks!
They sounds really close to the typical "Dynaudiosound!" neutral, detailed and distinctly.
For now I use a old Nad 208, but soon I will use my DIY Aleph 1.2 when they are finished.
Sorry, I do not quite understand the last lines, you mean drawings?
    Regards, Michael

  • Look down at:
    http://www.gattiweb.com/dynaudio.html

You will find Finale and Xennon3 drawing, in original.

I also have Xennon2, and Twynn as center.

I do have drawings of all my speakers in Solid Works Cad's,(cabinets), but I have recalculate all crossovers, and volume for my finer drivers, so not much is like the original ones.

  • Mixon1 ,
I bought the Finale kit in 1998 and stopped with the rough panels cuts. Back then, I have my distributor replace the d260 with t-330 and the d52af with M560. Still all in boxes.
I have to adjust the holes and ****ing with driver changes.
Are you still around for some questions on your finish ?
    Nice Job on yours!
    thanks
    rob
